作品从已经消失的生物如何在想象中持续存在出发，借用卡尔维诺《恐龙》中的段落，追问为什么恐龙越是从世界上消失，越会在幸存者的思想迷宫里扩张它们的领地。
这件与陈梓睿合作的双频录像通过 3D 建模、CGI、AI 生成图像、现成影像与论文电影的方法重新配置现实主义。在科学假设、娱乐奇观与技术图像之间，作品考察的是：谁拥有让不可置信之物显得可信的权力？谁又有能力把梦转化成一种共同现实？
创作线索
作品从修复我童年的恐龙画开始。那些画是我还没有完全掌握语言之前，留下的想象的痕迹。我们把它们和 AI 生成的图像放在一起，也放进古生物学的复原图、电影和电视里反复出现的恐龙形象——为一个谁也没真正见过的过去，造出一段具体的视觉记忆。
恐龙消失得越彻底，越在幸存者的思想里扩张领地：卡尔维诺这句话成了影片的走向。画面在复原与想象、修复与偏离之间漂移，童年的笔触与算法那种均匀的冷漠反复对峙。从用手和记忆去想象，到让机器替我们想象，这中间我们继承了什么，又交出了什么？在科学假设、娱乐奇观和技术造像彼此重叠的地方，能让一个不可置信之物显得可信的，从来都是某种权力；而虚构，是我们暂时栖身在现实裂缝里的一种推测的语言。
